Visas & consular documents

The D/AM2 long-stay visa is issued based on the approved single application. We prepare the complete file, coordinate the consular appointment and track issuance — until the worker has the visa in their passport.

What it covers

  • The complete visa file

Compliant travel medical insurance, translated and legalized criminal record, proof of means of subsistence — every document verified before submission.

  • Consular appointment coordination

We coordinate the in-person presentation at the diplomatic mission or consular office, with original documents in order.

  • Biometrics without surprises

We guide the worker through biometric data collection — facial image and fingerprints — so everything goes right the first time.

  • Translations and legalizations

We handle the translation and legalization of documents into Romanian, English or French, as required.

The process, step by step

01

Prerequisite: approved single application

Everything starts from the positive resolution of the single application on the platform — a step we also handle.

02

We prepare the worker’s documents

Insurance, criminal record, proof of means of subsistence — we collect and verify every paper.

03

Consulate visit + biometrics

The worker presents themselves in person with the originals. Biometric data is collected at submission.

04

Application resolution

The single application is resolved within a maximum of 30 days from the consular presentation.

max. 30 days
05

D/AM2 visa issuance

The visa goes into the passport, with the personal numeric code assigned. The worker can legally travel to Romania.

Documents we need from you

  • The individual employment contract, registered in REGES-ONLINE
  • Contract signed in Romanian and the worker’s language — required by law
  • Company organigram with occupied and vacant positions
  • We manage the rest (insurance, criminal record, means of subsistence) with the worker

Costs and timelines

  • Consular fee: €300/worker

The long-stay visa fee is set by law at €300. You pay it directly, transparently, with no markups.

  • Medical insurance: mandatory

The travel policy with a minimum coverage of €30,000 is a visa condition. We issue it at real cost.

  • Submission: max. 3 months ahead

The application is rejected if filed more than 3 months before arrival. We set the correct calendar together.

Frequently asked questions

The single application condition check takes up to 30 days, and resolution after the consular presentation — again up to 30 days. Realistically 1–2 months from a complete file.

D/AM1 is for highly qualified workers and special categories, filed directly by the employer. D/AM2 is the visa for workers placed through an authorized agency — the case we manage end-to-end.

Refusals come from wrong documents or unmet conditions — exactly what we eliminate before submission. A negative resolution after the consular visit can be challenged, and we guide you through that scenario too.
